In the Leicester classes at Woodlands Health & Allergy Clinic we can also offer a full nutritional check. Most asthmatics, and other conditions associated with incorrect breathing, have deficiencies and underlying problems brought about by years of poor breathing. These can be parasites, candida, hypoadrenia (under-functioning adrenal glands), hypoglycaemia, mineral deficiencies, weakened immune system, hormone imbalance. If these problems are identified and corrected, much quicker progress can be gained from the Buteyko course.

It is a requirement of my course that this check is undertaken for people with ME (chronic fatigue) because, in my experience, people with this condition invariably have many of the above problems and if these are not corrected there can be little or no improvement.
